We searched for a very particular 2 in gate valve and thought we had found it at shoptrupply.com. I called and was sent to on line sales, placed the order and waited. a few days later we were notified by email that the valve wasn't in their stock and to get it from Crane we would have to pay an additional $237 over the $121.00 already paid. Since we really needed this 2 inch GV we agreed and paid the added costs. The valve arrived today however it was a 1/4" Crane valve, not the 2 Inch we had ordered. Customer service claims that is what we asked for and that is what they sent. This company is not easy to work with and getting thru to them is very difficult as they prefer using email rather than phone calls. We are now out $350.00 + dollars and still don't have the correct size valve. We were told today that the 2 In is not available for at least 6 weeks and would now cost $421.00 + Shipping.. We will never work with this company ever again!
